Hoop House and Permaculture in Kodiak Alaska Impressionist Garden Painting
“Vision for an Alaskan Tribe” May 2016

I was in Alaska to help a Native Alaskan Tribe transform their hoop house into a permaculture oasis. This is an impressionist vision of the hoop house – lush plants growing up the fishing nets I draped across the walls, productive hugelkultur mounds, and plants growing at every stage. The sun is like the light, the vision I hope to bring to the Tribe whereas the metal bars are like the obstacles and structures that exist between the sun and the soil.
